We want to get on board a Junior Engineer for our engineering area within the rail signaling business to start as Control Centers Engineer for Customer Projects or Interlocking Delivery Manager.

The Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of the Rail Signalling Systems for Main Line and Mass Transit Worldwide Mobility projects, elaborating the specific design for customer projects based on the project requirements. He/she develops technical specifications, defines project software and hardware architecture, manuals and deployment, testing and commissioning procedures. He/she manages and supports other engineering teams, and must interface to Stakeholders, Partners and Customers regarding project specific topics.

Will take into account the project specific requirements and coordinates all the related activities during the whole life cycle of the project.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Management and traceability of requirements along the project life cycle.
Design specific solutions for projects according to customer, product, safety and security requirements.
Implement, test and commission complex hardware and software solutions.
Effective coordination of all the areas involved in the project, other delivery managers, hardware team and technical office.
Understand specific requirements as set by customer and reconcile any deviation.
Collaborate in Planning and Management for project activities.
Communication and collaboration with other engineering areas and Mobility departments.
Proactively identifies areas of innovation, opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.

Requirements:
Education/Experience:
– University or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics,Telecommunications, Mining, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
– Knowledge in C , C++ or Java programming language and environment, not high level required.
– Desktop and server platforms based on Windows and UNIX/Linux.
– Experience in engineering department or similar functions 1-2 years.
– Handicapped certificate required
