RESPONSABLE DE OPERACIONES (H/M/X) Palma De Mallorca

We are currently looking for a Head of Operations (all genders) at our location in Palma de Mallorca, to start immediately, in a full-time and permanent position with Wings Handling Palma S.L.

Tasks

The Head of Operations plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all ground handling activities of the company at the airport. This position requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of airport operations and ground handling procedures.

– You oversee all ground handling operations including baggage handling, aircraft loading and unloading, OPS control and flight OPS assistance to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
– You develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance, minimize delays and enhance customer satisfaction.
– You lead a team of ground handling personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of performance and adherence to safety protocols.
– By setting clear objectives and conducting performance evaluations you drive continuous improvement within the team.
– You identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction through data analysis, performance monitoring, and feedback from stakeholders.
– You ensure maintenance of Regulatory and Industrial Standards and Duties.

Requirements

– You have a proven track record in OPS Management positions and have gain previous experience in the management of peak operations.
– You possess very good English language skills in writing and speaking.
– Advanced skills in MS Office, databases, IATA standards, A-CDM and other branch systems are necessary.
– You know the specifics of the local industry (seasonality, etc.) and are able to continuously adapt the operating model to the current time of the year.
– You are keen to challenge and change the status quo within the company.
– Your ability to lead and motivate teams as well as your ability to discuss, negotiate, and present ideas based on tangible data complete your profile.
